201 Stainless Steel Sheet is a type of stainless steel plate featuring chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and manganese (Mn) as its primary alloying elements; it serves as an economical alternative to austenitic stainless steels.

Chemical Composition Characteristics

Chromium (Cr): Approx. 16%–18%

Nickel (Ni): Approx. 3.5%–5.5% (Significantly lower than 304)

Manganese (Mn): Approx. 5.5%–7.5% (Comparatively higher)

Nitrogen (N): Enhances strength and hardness

Key Point: Manganese is used to partially replace nickel in order to reduce costs.

2. Hot-rolled sheet: Thickness 3.0-20mm, width 1500/1800/2000mm, length can be customized, common specifications are 3/5/8/10/12/16mm, surface available in black, pickled, and matte finishes.

3. Special specifications: The manufacturer can perform leveling, slitting, laser cutting, and irregular shape processing according to requirements. Surface treatments such as anti-fingerprint and color coatings are available to suit personalized applications.
