Manufacturers of 310S stainless steel sheets possess a comprehensive material testing system, providing original factory warranties and spectral analysis reports. They offer stable supply and efficient delivery, capable of handling large-scale high-temperature engineering bulk orders as well as small-batch customization needs. Their comprehensive strength makes them suitable for various high-temperature industrial applications.
310S Stainless Steel Sheet is a stainless steel plate primarily alloyed with high chromium (Cr) and high nickel (Ni). It exhibits excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in extreme high-temperature environments.
Chemical Composition Characteristics
Chromium (Cr): Approx. 24–26%
Nickel (Ni): Approx. 19–22%
Carbon (C): ≤ 0.08% (A key low-carbon characteristic of 310S)
Why is 310S stainless steel sheet so heat-resistant?
Its long-term continuous operating temperature can reach 1100-1150℃, and its short-term peak temperature resistance can stably support 1200℃. It exhibits outstanding resistance to oxidation and creep at high temperatures, and is not prone to deformation, cracking, or peeling. This high-temperature resistance stems from a special alloy ratio: high chromium content allows for the rapid formation of a dense and stable chromium oxide protective film on high-temperature surfaces, isolating oxygen corrosion; high nickel content significantly improves the steel's thermal stability, creep resistance, and low-temperature toughness; while the low-carbon design (C≤0.08%) avoids the risk of intergranular corrosion at high temperatures. This dual protection makes it suitable for extreme high-temperature conditions.

Is 310S stainless steel sheet expensive? It belongs to the mid-to-high-end specialty stainless steel category, with a price significantly higher than ordinary stainless steel but lower than super austenitic stainless steels such as 904L. Overall, it is positioned as a "high-performance, high-cost" material. It contains 24-26% chromium and 19-22% nickel (far exceeding 304/316L), with these two precious metals accounting for over 70% of the cost. Fluctuations in nickel prices significantly impact the price.
