How to Choose Between 310S and 309S High-Temperature Resistant Stainless Steel Plates?

1. For long-term operating temperatures below 1050℃, and in conventional high-temperature environments such as ordinary furnace bodies/flues/heat-resistant enclosures, manufacturers recommend prioritizing 309S. It offers better cost-effectiveness, is less expensive than 310S, and its performance is perfectly adequate.

2. For long-term temperatures ≥1050℃, and in ultra-high temperature, heavy-load, and highly oxidizing conditions such as furnace shells, burners, and heat treatment trays, 310S is essential. Its high chromium-nickel content provides stronger creep resistance and oxidation resistance, ensuring a longer service life.
