Lingchuang is a China manufacturer and supplier of galvanized carbon steel pipes, offering DN15–DN600 sizes with outer diameters 21.3–630mm and wall thickness 2.0–12mm. Standard lengths include 6m and 12m, with OEM/customized sizes, non-standard diameters, and cut-to-length service available. As a factory-direct wholesale supplier, Lingchuang provides competitive price, stable quality, and global export support for industrial and construction procurement needs.
Galvanized Carbon Steel Pipes refer to a category of steel pipe products that have undergone a galvanizing process on their surface to enhance their corrosion resistance and service life.
Key Features
Excellent rust prevention and corrosion resistance
Good mechanical strength (inheriting the properties of carbon steel)
Long service life and low maintenance costs
Weldable and possesses good machinability (though the impact of the zinc coating must be considered in hot-dip galvanized pipes)
Production Process
1. Raw Material Feeding: Qualified hot-rolled/cold-rolled steel strip coils are used as raw materials, primarily Q195, Q215, Q235B, and Q355B. After inspection, the material is fed into the machine.
2. Uncoiling and Leveling: The steel strip coils are automatically uncoiled and then leveled in a leveling machine to eliminate curling deformation and ensure a flat and uniform surface.
3. Shearing and Butt Welding: Irregular sections at the beginning and end of the steel strip are sheared, and then flash butt welding is used to connect the front and rear steel strips, achieving continuous and uninterrupted production.
4. Roll Forming: The steel strip is gradually bent and rolled through multiple sets of progressive rollers to form a circular tube blank with a straight seam.
5. High-frequency welding utilizes the skin effect of high-frequency current to heat the weld edge to a molten state. The weld is then compacted and fused by extrusion rollers, forming a continuous and dense straight seam weld, while simultaneously removing internal and external weld spatter.
6. Sizing and straightening: The pipe diameter is precisely sized by a sizing unit to ensure that the outer diameter and roundness meet standards; then, a straightening machine corrects bends to ensure the straightness of the pipe.
7. Cutting to standard lengths such as 6 meters and 12 meters: Automatic cutting is performed simultaneously by a flying saw, resulting in a clean cut.
8. Quality inspection: Hydrostatic testing and eddy current/ultrasonic testing are conducted sequentially to inspect the weld quality and pressure resistance.
9. Post-processing and packaging: Processing such as pipe end chamfering, painting, galvanizing, and plastic coating are performed as needed. After passing inspection, the pipes are bundled, labeled, and stored for shipment.
Galvanized Carbon Steel Pipes are used in municipal water supply and drainage, building fire protection, gas transmission, low-pressure fluid pipelines, steel structure columns, scaffolding pipes, power conduits, bridge supports, municipal engineering, and overseas export projects. China's leading factory boasts high production efficiency, uniform wall thickness, excellent dimensional accuracy, and stable welding quality; its cost is far lower than that of seamless pipes, resulting in outstanding cost-effectiveness; its pipe diameter is regular, making it easy to install and connect, suitable for mass standardized production, and its pressure resistance meets the requirements of low to medium pressure operating conditions.
Product Advantages
Galvanized Carbon Steel Pipes are widely utilized in the construction and industrial sectors due to their unique combination of "high strength + corrosion resistance." Their primary advantages are as follows:
1. Excellent Corrosion Resistance
The galvanized coating effectively isolates the steel pipe from air, moisture, and corrosive media, thereby preventing rust.
Hot-dip galvanizing provides robust protection, making it suitable for use in outdoor and humid environments.
Significantly extends service life (far exceeding that of standard carbon steel pipes).
2. High Mechanical Strength
The carbon steel base material endows the pipes with excellent pressure-bearing capacity and structural integrity.
Capable of withstanding high internal pressures and external mechanical impacts.
Ideal for use in structural support and fluid/material transport systems.
3. High Cost-Effectiveness
Compared to stainless steel pipes, galvanized carbon steel pipes offer a more competitive price point.
Provides excellent value for money.
Suitable for use in large-scale engineering projects.
Helps reduce overall procurement and maintenance costs.
4. Long Service Life
The protective galvanized layer effectively retards the corrosion process.
Typically offers a service life of 10–30 years (depending on environmental conditions).
Requires infrequent maintenance, resulting in lower long-term operational costs.
5. Excellent Processing Characteristics
●Exhibits good weldability and workability.
●Can be easily cut, bent, and welded.
●Adaptable to a wide range of engineering installation requirements.
