Cold-drawn seamless steel pipes are cold-worked seamless tubes formed at room temperature using molds. Using hot-rolled seamless rough tubes as the base material, the core process flow is as follows:
1. Pre-treatment: The rough tube is first pickled to remove surface oxide scale, then subjected to phosphating and saponification lubrication treatment to reduce drawing friction resistance and avoid scratches on the tube wall.
2. Cold Drawing Forming: After the tube end is reduced in diameter and headed, it is inserted into a mold and drawn using a cold drawing machine. The outer diameter and wall thickness are controlled synchronously by the outer sizing die and the inner core die. The target size can be gradually achieved through multiple drawing passes, with the deformation per pass controlled at 20%-40% to prevent tube cracking.
3. Annealing Treatment: Intermediate annealing is performed between multiple drawing passes to eliminate work hardening and restore material plasticity. The finished product undergoes final annealing to adjust mechanical properties and remove processing stress.
4. Finishing and Inspection: After straightening, end trimming, non-destructive testing, and full dimensional inspection, the tube is stored in the warehouse. High-precision products can undergo an additional bright finishing process.

4. Flexible Specification Coverage: Capable of producing small-diameter, thin-walled, and ultra-thin-walled seamless pipes that are difficult to achieve with hot rolling processes. Custom-designed pipes with irregular cross-sections are also available, covering specific and specialized specifications.
5. High Material Utilization: Stable dimensional accuracy minimizes cutting wear during customer machining, effectively reducing overall material costs.
