Color-Coated Carbon Steel Coils
Color-coated carbon steel coils use cold-rolled carbon steel as the base material and combine different coatings (zinc/aluminum-zinc/zinc-aluminum-magnesium) and coatings (PE/SMP/HDP/PVDF) to form a diversified product system. Coating Materials (Surface Protective Layer)
Commonly used coating types in factories include:
1. Ordinary Polyester (PE): High cost-performance ratio, moderate weather resistance, suitable for general construction and indoor applications.
2. Silicone-Modified Polyester (SMP): Improved weather resistance, good anti-chalking properties, suitable for outdoor building envelopes.
3. High Weather Resistance Polyester (HDP): Better weather resistance than ordinary PE, suitable for long-term outdoor use.
4. Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF): Best weather resistance and chemical resistance, suitable for coastal, highly corrosive environments and high-end buildings.
5. Acrylic: High gloss, good decorative properties, suitable for interior decoration and appliance panels.
