1. Carburizing alloy grades: 20Cr, 20CrMnTi, 20Mn2. These have a low-carbon matrix combined with alloying elements. After carburizing treatment, they achieve "high surface hardness and wear resistance, and high core toughness and impact resistance," and are mainly used for precision mechanical parts such as gears, pins, and transmission bolts.
2. Quenched and Tempered Alloy Grades: 40Cr, 35CrMo, 42CrMo, 30CrMnSi. After quenching and tempering, these alloys exhibit excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, with a high degree of matching between strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance. 40Cr is a general-purpose grade used in high-strength drive shafts and core machine tool components; 35CrMo/42CrMo are primarily used in heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders, engineering machinery structural components, and high-pressure fasteners.
III. Special-Purpose Precision Seamless Steel Pipes
These are specialized materials developed for specific working conditions, with highly targeted performance characteristics. All are produced using cold-drawing/cold-rolling precision processes:
1. Bearing Steel Grades: GCr15, GCr15SiMn. These high-carbon chromium bearing steels require extremely high material purity and dimensional accuracy. After quenching, they exhibit high hardness and extremely strong wear resistance, and are used for bearing rings, precision wear-resistant bushings, high-precision measuring tools, and high-load wear-resistant parts.
2. Spring steel grades: 65Mn, 60Si2Mn. Excellent elasticity, strong fatigue and deformation resistance, widely used in spring tubes, snap rings, elastic washers, and precision elastic structural components.
3. Boiler/High-Pressure Vessel grades: 20G, 12Cr1MoVG. High temperature and pressure resistant, stable mechanical properties at high temperatures, strict control of harmful impurities, used in small-diameter high-temperature steam pipes, precision boiler heating surface tubes, and high-pressure thermal pipe fittings.
4. Free-machining steel grades: Y15, Y45Mn. Added sulfur and other elements optimize cutting performance, suitable for high-speed batch processing on automatic lathes, widely used in high-volume machining scenarios such as precision fasteners, instrument connectors, and small hardware parts.
