Alloy Wear-Resistant Steel Plate from Lingchuang is a high-strength, abrasion-resistant steel solution designed for mining, construction, and heavy machinery applications, offering excellent wear resistance, long service life, and reliable performance for global buyers seeking a trusted China manufacturer and supplier.
Leading Alloy Wear-Resistant Steel Plate manufacturer have meticulously compiled core grades, specifications, and applicable scenarios, covering national standards and industry-wide standards to suit engineering procurement and production selection.
Classification by Alloy Content
Low Alloy Steel Plate: Total alloy element content ≤ 5% (usually ≤ 3.5% in China), represented by Q345/Q355 series, high cost-performance ratio, most widely used.
Medium Alloy Steel Plate: Total alloy element content 5%~10%, such as some Cr-Mo heat-resistant steels.
High Alloy Steel Plate: Total alloy element content > 10%, including stainless steel, heat-resistant alloys, corrosion-resistant alloys, etc., such as 304/316L stainless steel.
Classification by Application and Performance
Low Alloy High-Strength Structural Steel: Q355, Q390, Q460, SM570, etc., yield strength 275~570MPa, used in construction, bridges, and engineering machinery.
Alloy Structural Steel: 20Cr, 40Cr, 27SiMn, 42CrMo, etc., used for manufacturing gears, shafts, connecting rods, and other mechanical parts.
Heat-resistant alloy steel plates: Cr-Mo series (such as SA387 Gr 92), austenitic heat-resistant steel, used in boilers, pressure vessels, high-temperature pipelines
Alloy Wear-Resistant Steel Plate: NM400/NM450, bimetallic composite plates, used in mining machinery, cement equipment, wear-resistant pipelines
Special purpose steel plates: Container plates (Q345R, 16MnDR), bridge plates, high-rise building steel, etc.
Common specifications and standards
Thickness specifications:
Thin steel plates
<4mm (thinnest 0.2mm), width 500~1500mm
Thick steel plates
4~60mm, width 600~3000mm
Extra-thick steel plates
60~115mm, used for heavy structures and pressure vessels
Standards:
National Standard (GB): GB/T 3274 (hot-rolled steel plates), GB/T 1591 (low-alloy high-strength steel), GB 713 (boiler and pressure vessel plates)
Japanese Standard (JIS): JIS G3106 (SM series)
American Standard (ASTM): ASTM A36, ASTM A572, ASTM A387 (Heat-resistant steel)
Grade Classification: Within the same strength level, steels are classified into A/B/C/D/E grades based on impact toughness. Grades D/E are suitable for low-temperature environments (-20℃~-40℃).
Application Scenarios
Q355 Series: Yield strength ≥355MPa. Q355B is used for normal temperature structures, while Q355D/E are used for low-temperature engineering. Widely used in building steel structures, bridges, machinery bases, and automobile frames.
Q460 Series: Yield strength ≥460MPa. Used in high-rise buildings, heavy machinery, mining equipment, and other fields requiring high strength.
42CrMo: High-strength alloy structural steel with good hardenability. Used for manufacturing large-section, high-load mechanical parts such as crankshafts, connecting rods, and gears.
304/316L Stainless Steel: Austenitic stainless steel, non-magnetic, with excellent corrosion resistance, used in chemical equipment, food machinery, and medical devices.
SA387 Gr 92: Cr-Mo heat-resistant steel, yield strength ≥415MPa, used in power plant boilers and high-temperature pressure vessels.
NM400/NM450: Alloy Wear-Resistant Steel Plate, Brinell hardness ≥400/450HBW, used in mining machinery, concrete mixing equipment, and wear-resistant liners.
