1060 Aluminum Coils

China's leading manufacturer of 1060 aluminum coils typically stocks thicknesses of 0.3-1.0mm, with mainstream thicknesses of 0.4mm and 0.5mm, and standard widths of 1000mm and 1220mm. A variety of hardness and softness conditions are available, and the coils can be slitting and cutting.

1060 aluminum coils belong to the 1-series industrial pure aluminum, with an aluminum content ≥99.6% and total impurities ≤0.4%. It is a high-purity, general-purpose pure aluminum material. It does not contain alloying elements such as manganese and magnesium, and cannot be strengthened through heat treatment; its hardness and softness can only be adjusted through cold working (O soft state, H22, H24, H18, etc.). It features high purity, high plasticity, excellent electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance, and is widely used in applications where strength requirements are not high but processing performance and corrosion resistance are important.

O Temper: 70-90MPa

O Temper: 75-95MPa

1100: Slightly higher strength (5-10 MPa)

H18 Temper: 150-180MPa

H18 Temper: 160-190MPa

Dulleriness

Superior, elongation 20%-40%

Good, elongation 15%-30%

1060: Easier to bend and deep-draw

Corrosion Resistance

Superior, denser natural oxide film

Good, slightly inferior to 1060

1060: More suitable for humid/slightly corrosive environments

Conductivity

Superior, approximately 62% IACS

Good, approximately 55% IACS

1060: Suitable for conductive/heat dissipation applications

Hardness

Relatively softer

Slightly hard (affected by copper content)

1100: Slightly stronger resistance to deformation

Price

Slightly higher (higher purity)

Relatively economical

1100: Higher cost-effectiveness for mass production projects

Typical Applications

Applications: Conductive components, heat sinks, mirror decoration, food packaging

Applications: Pipe insulation, exterior wall cladding, general decoration, stamped parts
